My husband and I came here a few years ago on a whim and stayed one night. We enjoyed our time together and decided to come back for a couple more nights this year. The hotel room we stayed in was decently comfortable and the back bedroom was nice and dark, which is what we like. Cookie's has good food at decent prices. The top floor has a better view of the lake and is quieter than a ground floor room (we've had both), but it's nice having your car parked right outside your door on the ground floor. We will be back!
This place is the definition of a hidden gem. One of the nicest lakes in MO and this marina has been a staple here forever. We’ve been coming here for a yearly summer trip for a long time and don’t plan on changing anytime soon. The staff are all awesome and it’s a lake experience you can’t beat.
My husband was on a business trip and we got to stay here.very beautiful views from the rooms towards the lakes. The rooms were clean but it smelt like cigarette smoke and my toddler found 3 dead spider (he handed them to me lol thank gosh) the staff was very polite and their pretty much all around a very nice place just possible needs a little air freshener and a quick vacuum of the corners.
Absolutely great... i came here just to work and it was very reasonable and they are very friendly and with us only asking for 3 rooms in such a short notice they were able to get us all in. Very clean and comfortable rooms on bull shoals lake ... i posted sum pics. Also their little restaurant that they have here is good eatin...
Our room was spotless and had a great view of the lake but the beds were hard and uncomfortable. The restaurant staff was very nice and food was good but the pie was not home made as advertised. Long drive to get there, probably good for family vacation if you like water activities.
We went here but we didn't rent a room or anything we only used the docks and fed the carp. Our son was amazed at how big they were. The lake is up by A LOT. We did get some really cool pieces of drift wood too.
I have only utilized the restaurant here- Cookies. I love it. The food is great, the view of the lake is great and the carrot cake is to die for. The wait staff is always cheerful and helpful. You will feel like you've gone home to homemade food and deserts. The marina and cabins look well cared for, but I have no experience with them
We rented Cookies Apt. and it was lovely! The Apt has ample room to sleep, visit and eat! We rented the bass boat, and the guys at the marina were awesome! The lake was flooding, so the beach was underwater, so we went to the pool instead, and it's nice. They have long hours and plenty of seating with shade. Will definitely be coming back! They are pet friendly, and that is hard to find!
